Privacy notice

This notice explains what happens to the information you send through the enquiry form on this website. It covers the enquiry form and nothing else.

It says nothing about cookies, analytics, advertising or social plugins, because the site does not use any of them.

When you send an enquiry, the form records the name and email address you enter, the phone number and company name if you give them, the service you select if you select one, your project details, whether you asked to be subscribed to the newsletter, and the page of the site the enquiry was sent from.

There is no account, no sign-in and no tracking on the form, and nothing else about you is collected.

The information is used to read your enquiry and answer it: to work out what access, material or service the job needs, to prepare a quotation, and to reply using the details you supplied.

It is not sold, and it is not used for advertising.

Enquiries are stored in the website's own database, which is hosted on Supabase. The table is not readable from the website: the public form is allowed to add a new enquiry and nothing else, so no visitor and no browser can read enquiries that have already been sent.

The stored enquiries are visible only to the people at GH Scaffolds who deal with them.

The form is sent to the website's server over an encrypted connection, checked there, and only then written to the database.

The server checks every field, limits how much data one submission may carry and how often the same connection may submit, and refuses automated submissions that fill in a field no visitor can see.

No notification email and no newsletter is sent, and no mailing service is used, so your enquiry is not passed to anyone else in order to reach us.

A retention period has not been agreed yet. Until one is set, an enquiry is kept so that it can be answered and the correspondence traced.

A retention period should be confirmed before the site goes live, and this notice will be updated to state it.

To ask what has been recorded, to correct it, or to have it removed, contact us using the phone numbers or the email address on the contact page and quote the details you sent.

If you would rather not use the form at all, the same phone numbers and email address reach the same team.
